LECTURES by JOYCE MURAOKA

Enhancing communication on all levels, with knowledge and application of how to live conscious creative lives of service is a keynote that spans all of Joyce’s work. She has been involved in the field of Esoteric Studies for over 20 years.  She received formal training in and is currently teaching coursework that synthesizes eastern and western disciplines.  Joyce seeks to bring about the understanding and application of the unifying principles of the Ageless Wisdom that promote integrity, cooperation, creativity, and service within the greater community, which we share.

Joyce is involved in research and teaches esoteric history classes, as well as lectures in a variety of adult education settings.  She has taught classes and lectured on the ‘Esoteric History and Destiny of the United States through the City of Fullerton’s Community Services Department, at a Rosicrucian Conclave in 1996, and for the Theosophical Society in 1997.  Due to the positive public response and interest, Joyce was invited to conduct a workshop and lecture/slide presentation on the architectural design, symbols, and layout of the distinctive monuments in Washington, D.C. for the Rosicrucian and Theosophical Society in 1997 and 1999 respectively.  In June 1996, she was the invited lecturer and spoke on the ‘Spirit and Code of the Samurai Warrior’ at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center’s Japanese Festival. At the opening reception in June of the museum’s exhibit “Kimono: The Expression of Inner Harmony,” she presented the history of the kimono and the symbolic art.
